For everything there is a season

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1

Sometimes a big storm or great famine in life will arrive. A kind that seems insurmountable and overwhelming which brings us to the point of desperation. Don’t lose heart; know that everything happens for a reason! God is in total control. We may not like the season we’re experiencing right now but learn to adapt. In due time you will grow. It is written that no testing has overtaken us that is not common to everyone. God is faithful and He will not let us be tested beyond our strength. He will provide a way out so that we’re able to endure the test (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trials and temptations we encounter are for our own good, for us to develop endurance, become mature and ultimately, lack in nothing (James 1:3-4).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for providing us with life’s seasons. Help us to understand each season and give us the strength not only to survive them but to thrive in them. Amen.
