Minister Lebo Sekgobela opened with Mdumiseni with same set up as the previous artist Bishop Benjamin Dube used .i.e. three backup artists ,2 keyboard players and a drumist.

The concert performance by Minister Lebo Sekgobela time was 48minutes and 53 seconds and it was available on the Telkom One. TV from 13:00 and will be available until the 7th of April 2021.

Minister Lebo Sekgobela in ghis offering maintains her same anointed worship style where she opened the song leading the backing vocalists allowing them to support her execute the song.

I am used to the part where Mo Rabodila ( mo in the insert) would lead the other artists to do a skhamaround dance for Mdumiseni where as Minister Sekgobela would look on with amazement and excitement so was the audience. Allow me to elaborate further on the next line.

12 months ago, a reckless evening out on the town did not include attendance of a gospel concert . The COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing guidelines have changed the economics of dining out and live performances temporarily and possibly forever.

💃

For the last 12 months, nearly all live music, theater and dance have suspended shows due to stay-at-home orders. Performance halls are empty as classical music patrons and theatergoers shelter in place. Some performing arts companies have pivoted into digital platforms not only to maintain their donors and patrons, but also to allow artists to produce innovative work and explore the new avenues of digital expression. Yet, how a company approaches these challenges and even the size of the organization could determine if performing art is facing an insurmountable fiscal deficit or an opportunity to embrace a new avenue of reaching audiences.

I personally would like to thank Telkom One TV for opening this streaming opportunity and wish they could make more of them so that our artists could have an income to take care of their families.

Regional symphonies like Mobile and smaller theater companies can focus on how to cut back on expenses and maintain their audiences because they have smaller payrolls and fewer maintenance costs than larger concert halls.

Before the next song could start Minister Lebo Sekgobela shared words of insperation as she normally does before introducing a new song.

This time she stressed the theme #Heisrisen since it is Easter Sunday celebration of Jesus Christ resurrection Sunday the song following was “Wakrazulwa”

Wakrazulwa ngenxa yami,
Liwa laphakade!
Kuze ndizifihle kuWe,
Nxeba lika Yesu!

Yeyani na le mikrozo,
Kwelo cala lakho?
Yeyegazi, yeyamanzi,
Ma ndihlanjululwe.

Linyembezi zeminyaka,
Azingeze nto;
NguWe, nkosi, osusayo
Zonk’ izoono Zomntu.

Andinanto esandleni,
Ndize kanye, nkosi!
Se ndondele ekrusini,
Ekubethelweni.

Wakrazulwa ngenxa yami,
LiWa laphakade!
Kuze ndizifihle kuwe,
Nxeba likaa yeso!

Minister Sekgobela then start next song with words of inspiration saying because of the blood of Jesus Christ we got healing followed by ghe song “igama le Nkosi” “Thapelo tsa rona, Ditla nyologela”

Next song was:

“Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
My redeemer Jesus
Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
My redeemerChrist died for me
Yes I believe
And he arose
To set me freeOh I love thee
Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
My redeemer
Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
Oh I love thee
My redeemer”
