Living in Alignment

There is no substitute for ordering your life around God’s Word. You must not be content with simply reading it—though that is crucially important. You must not be content with simply memorizing it—though hiding it away in your heart is such a great way to let it begin to impact your life.

What’s crucial is that you apply the truth of God’s Word to your decisions if you want to receive the benefit that obedience brings. You don’t want to be like those of whom Jesus said, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matthew 22:29).

When you choose to live in alignment with the truth of God’s Word, it will have a powerful effect not only on your own life, but through you to the lives of others in your community and your nation. We need kingdom men to step up—as individuals, business owners, employees, politicians, fathers, medical workers, preachers and the like—to align themselves with God and His Word if we want to experience order in the land.

The number one priority in your life should be to cultivate your relationship with God’s Word and let it carry out its work of helping you get to know Him better. My brand-new book, Kingdom Men Rising, will help you learn how to live as a kingdom man. And as you do, you’ll find strength awakening within you. You’ll have the courage to stand up and be counted. You’ll walk in His empowerment. And you’ll experience a greater intimacy with Him than you’ve ever known before
