The Law of the Spirit of Life.

Why believers still experience the effects of death in the body and soul if we have been set free from the law of sin and death. To receive the abundance of life that is in your spirit, you must believe and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Revelation 12:11 – Sharing testimonies is how we overcome the devil. We can share the Gospel through sharing our testimonies.
No one can reason away your personal experience.
Reading testimonies about what Jesus has done is a faith-building exercise.

They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death. (Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 8:1-2 – There is no condemnation at all for us from God because we are in Christ Jesus.
The law of sin and death came in when Adam sinned.
God never planned for man to experience death. It was man’s choice to sin, and this brought death into the world.
We have been freed from the law of sin and death.
The law of the Spirit of life is a higher law that transcends the law of sin and death.
The law of thrust and lift enables a plane to defy gravity and fly in the air.

Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.(Romans‬ ‭8:1-2‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬)

Jeremiah 29:11 – When you follow God, you are following the one who has good plans for your future.
When you follow the devil, there is nothing but destruction waiting in front of you.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 4:13 – Faith is speaking what you believe.

“But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore also we speak;” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 116:10 – This is where Paul quoted from.

“I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”” (Psalms‬ ‭116:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 1:3-4 – God’s way is to speak first and then see the manifestation of what He spoke. We are made in the image of God.

“God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.” (Genesis‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 10:9 – This is how you appropriate all the things of God: believing with the heart and speaking with the mouth.

“that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 1:30 – Whatever happened to Jesus has happened to you. You are in Christ.
When He died, you died with Him. You were buried with Him. You were resurrected with Him. You were seated with Him in Heaven.

“Because of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:30‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 8:3 – Sin was fully punished in Jesus’ flesh.

“For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;” (Romans‬ ‭8:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Your spirit is now a new creation.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 12:2 – Our spirit has been perfected, but our mind still has to be constantly renewed.

“Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ephesians 4:23 – Another confirmation that the mind has to be constantly renewed.

“and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,” (Ephesians‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 1:27 – Just as God has Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we are also beings with three parts: spirit, soul, body.

“God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 2:7 – Adam’s body was like a mannequin at first before God breathed an eternal spirit into Adam.
When man dies in his body, his spirit has to be either housed in Heaven or Hell.

“Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 2:17 – When Adam sinned, he died spiritually first, and eventually he died bodily.

“but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”” (Genesis‬ ‭2:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Let your soul be conscious of what has happened to your spirit. Believe and declare that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

God designed for our spirit to lead the soul (mind, will, and emotions) and the body. The mind always wants to take control, but we bring it to submission through the spirit.
For example, when you first begin to pray in tongues, your mind may tell you to stop doing that because it does not understand what you are saying. Let your spirit take control by standing on the truth of God’s word.

Romans 8:5-6 -We believers set our minds on the things of the Spirit.

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;” (Romans‬ ‭8:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 6:17 – God has made your spirit and the Holy Spirit one.

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

You are a spirit that has a soul and you live in a body.

John 4:23 – We commune with God in our spirit.

“But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers.” (John‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 5:7 – We don’t depend on visible, tangible manifestations of God. We walk by faith and know that we always have communion with God in our spirit.

“for we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 14:14 – Praying in tongues is praying with the spirit, whereas praying with words is praying with the soul (the mind).

“For if I pray in another language, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 15:24 – We were once dead in sin, but now we are alive in Christ.

“for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ They began to celebrate.” (Luke‬ ‭15:24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God guides us by intuition that comes from the spirit. Sense whether you have rest and peace before making a decision. If you are married, pray with your spouse first before deciding.

Hebrews 10:1-2 – If your sin debt has been paid, your conscience (in your spirit) will not keep feeling like there is still a debt owed.

“For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near. Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:4 – There is no way that the blood of bulls and goats can take away sins.

“For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:11-12 – The Levitical priesthood cannot take away sins. But Jesus’ priesthood took away the condemnation of sin with just one perfect sacrifice for all time.

“Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:11-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:17 – The Holy Spirit bears witnesses with our spirit that God is no longer holding our sins against us.

““I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 8:12 – This is the reason why the clauses in the New Covenant of Grace work for us.

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more.”” (Hebrews‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 1:16-17 – The Gospel is the power of God that saves (in Greek: sozo) you. Not just salvation from Hell, but salvation from every evil and trouble.
The Greek structure of Romans 1:17 actually says “the righteous by faith will live”.
You are born again and alive because you are righteous by faith.
When you were a sinner, you were born as a baby who was dead in sin. When you were born again through faith, you were born righteous.

“For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”” (Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 5:21 – We have become the righteousness of God in Christ. We must confess this.

“For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 45:24-25 – We need to hear a truth again and again until we are established in it. Righteousness is found in the Lord (Christ).

“They will say of me, ‘There is righteousness and strength only in Yahweh.’” Even to him shall men come; and all those who raged against him shall be disappointed. All the offspring of Israel will be justified in Yahweh, and will rejoice!” (Isaiah‬ ‭45:24-25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 54:13-17 – Sickness is a form of oppression. When you are established in righteousness, sickness will be far from you.
No weapon that is formed against you will prosper. Even verbal and written attacks on social media are considered as weapons that have been formed.

“All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great. In righteousness you will be established. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid; and far from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they may gather together, but not by me. Whoever gathers together against you will fall because of you. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame, and forges a weapon for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.” (Isaiah‬ ‭54:13-17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 13:38-39 – This is a sample of what the apostle Paul preached.
Many people are only preaching forgiveness of sins but not the gift of righteousness.
We need to depend on the gift of righteousness because it is the best gift of all. It is the blessing of Abraham—he was counted righteous through faith.

“Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins, and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” (Acts‬ ‭13:38-39‬ ‭WEB‬)

Romans 8:8-11 – Believers are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. You are the righteousness of God in Christ.
Your body is dead because of sin in your flesh, but your spirit is alive (and full of life) because of righteousness.
The Holy Spirit in you will give life to your mortal body! This is not talking about the Rapture.
Confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ so that the life in your spirit can flow out into your soul and body.
This is the weak link that is blocking believers from seeing their healing because they do not believe that they are righteous.
Let your soul realm even feel righteous—let this truth affect your emotions. Set your mind on how righteous you are in Christ.

“Those who are in the flesh can’t please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans‬ ‭8:8-11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Philippians 3:21 – When the Rapture happens, your mortal body will be transformed into an immortal body. It is not just life given to your mortal body.

“who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.” (Philippians‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 3:1 – What “confession” is this talking about?

“Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;” (Hebrews‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 4:14 – We don’t hold fast to our confession of sin.

“Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession.” (Hebrews‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 10:23 – We hold fast to our confession of hope.

“let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Thessalonians 5:23 – God’s desire is for you to be made whole in body, soul, and spirit. Your soul is still playing catch up to what has already happened in your spirit.

“May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)
