He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:6

Have you ever heard a group of people singing, and one person was out of sync with everyone else? They stand out, don’t they?

The Lord said to the prophet Amos, Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?(Amos 3:3 NLT). In the original language, the word together means in harmony.

When the Bible speaks of walking with God, it’s the idea of being harmony with God, moving in sync with God, or being in rhythm with God.We want to be in harmony with Him and move in the same direction with Him. The Bible tells us, He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked (1 John 2:6).

This means we should want to live as Jesus Christ did. We should want to walk closely with Him.
