Thinking about You

He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. – Ephesians 1:5-6

Apostle Paul presented to the Ephesian believers that our salvation was done in the mind of God thousands of years ago before the world was even created. This represents God’s great love for us. It means that He was already thinking about you before He created the entire world. God loves us so much. We also need to understand that nothing compels Him or requires Him to do that for us. According to the verse, it was all according to “the good pleasure of His will.” This should remind us that we should offer God our undying loyalty for what He did for us. We are not slaves or servants; we are His children. So as His children, we should live our lives in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father and love Him above all else
