Therefore, from the day we heard this, we do not cease praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding to live in a manner worthy of the Lord, so as to be fully pleasing, in every good work bearing fruit and growing in the knowledge of God. – Colossians 1:9-10

Knowing and discerning God’s will is something that many believers earnestly desire and seek. The question, what is God’s will for my life,is something many of us ask. While we may or may not always see clearly which way we should go, it is always a good thing to seek after God’s will. God is faithful, and His desire for us is to do His will, so I trust that when we seek Him, He will show us step by step what to do. Sometimes He clearly shows us the next step, other times He may not speak clearly, but will guide our circumstances instead. Whatever the case may be, it is wise for each of us to continually pray that He will fill us with His knowledge of what He wants for us.
