The Wandering

When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, he led them into the desert on their way to the promised land. They quickly started to grumble about the heat, lack of food, water, and harsh terrain. After witnessing the plagues and the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea, one has to wonder how they could be complaining? When Moses left them for a few days, they even built a golden calf and started to worship it. But aren’t we all like this sometimes? When we receive bad news or when the going gets tough, we start to wonder, “Why is God doing this to me?” It’s easy to become discouraged and feel like you’ve been left to wander aimlessly in the wilderness. Take some time today and just sit and listen to His voice. The Lord will tell you what He wants from you and show you His plan as long as you are listening. He knows exactly where you are right now and has great plans for you. Let Him show you what they are
