God’s Purpose In Prospering You.
Theme: God’s will to heal and prosper us for His central purpose: the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God blesses us so that we become a blessing to many. It is not for us to hoard greedily.
God is good. He will cause us to prosper in all things and be in health, even as our souls prosper.
Believers cannot be possessed. The Holy Spirit will not share the same temple as a demon. Demons can oppress believers from outside.
Fiery darts (demonic thoughts) come from outside. The devil fires an evil thought to you by using the personal pronoun such as I am worthless,I am cursed.
A person receives a thought by speaking it out and agreeing with it.
There is a purpose to God-given prosperity. It is for the furtherance of the Gospel.
There is no health and wealth gospel. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ produces health and wealth.
We are entering a global recession.
If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly. If you sow bountiful you will reap bountiful. This is in the context of giving.
Jesus had no qualms about advertising the Gospel and attracting sinners by healing the sick.
When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He brought them out with silver and gold to build the Tabernacle.
The devil instigated the children of Israel to build a golden calf while Moses was receiving the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. The devil will still try to distract you in the way you use your finances.
There is going to be a wealth transfer in these last days, just as it was in the Exodus.
Jesus said He came to preach good news to the poor. There is only one good news to the poor: your poverty is over—supply is coming. You will not lack.
Jesus’ first coming was not for vengeance but to bring grace, forgiveness, and wholeness. We are still in the acceptable (razon) year of the Lord.
We will not be around to see the Mark of the Beast implemented. There is a restraining power exerted by the church because the Holy Spirit is in the church. This is why the Antichrist cannot be revealed yet. When the Rapture happens and all believers are taken to Heaven, then the Antichrist can be revealed.
Alien abductions are the cover up for the Rapture of the church that will happen. The world will try to explain it away with the explanation of aliens.
God’s will to heal and prosper us for His central purpose: the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God’s will is to prosper you and keep you healthy
On the night where the children of Israel came out of Egypt, the wealth of the Egyptians was transferred to the Israelites. This was a compensation for all the years that the Israelites slaved away for no pay.
The wealth of the world will be transferred to the church in these end times for a purpose: the furtherance of the Gospel.
God is restoring the truth of Biblical prosperity.
Luke 4:24-30 – Elijah was sent to a widow in the region of Sidon. The people were offended at Jesus’ words because Jezebel (Ahab’s wife) was the daughter of the king of Sidon. Jezebel’s introduction of Baal worship in Israel caused the famine.
Naaman was the captain of the Syrian army who attacked Israel.
The people were offended at the grace of God. Grace is the unearned, unmerited, undeserved favor of God.
Grace still causes religious people to be filled with wrath.
In this passage, we see health and wealth blessings.
God was setting up the widow and the leper for miracles.
The manner of the miracles to be supplied did not make sense in the natural. It took faith and humility to obey and receive the blessings.
He said, Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown. But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land. Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian. They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue as they heard these things. They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff. But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.(Luke 4:24-30 WEBUS)
Psalm 23:1 – The Hebrew word for lack is haser The Hebrew letters that make up the word: Khet (life), Samekh (supply), Resh (head). Lack happens when you try to get your life supply by using your head. We must be led by our spirit-man, not by our reasoning.
Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing.(Psalms 23:1 WEBUS)
John 10:9 – If you replace the last letter in the word haser with dalet (door—Jesus is the Door), or becomes the word hesed which is grace.
I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture.(John 10:9 WEBUS)
Proverbs 28:22 – Having an evil eye is Hebraism for stinginess, miserliness, and greed.
A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him. (Proverbs 28:22 NKJV)
Luke 11:33-36 – A lit lamp represents revelation.
Don’t hide your light under commercialism.
The word cellar (or in other translations secret place), is kruptos in Greek (like cryptos).
Generosity has an life-giving effect on the body.
No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light.(Luke 11:33-36 WEBUS)
Matthew 20:13-15 – In this parable of grace, evil eye is again used to describe stinginess.
But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius? Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?(Matthew 20:13-15 WEBUS)
Deuteronomy 15:9 – Again, evil eye is about stinginess.
Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand, and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to Yahweh against you, and it be sin to you. (Deuteronomy 15:9 WEBUS)
Proverbs 22:9 – Generous eye is contrasted to evil eye. The generous person will be blessed.
He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. (Proverbs 22:9 WEBUS)
Luke 11:36-42 – When you give to the needy, your outside (body) and inside (soul) are both cleansed by God.
If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light. Now as he spoke, a certain Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in and sat at the table. When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed himself before dinner. The Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness. You foolish ones, didn’t he who made the outside make the inside also? But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and behold, all things will be clean to you. But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and God’s love. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone. (Luke 11:36-42 WEBUS)
In the Bible, foolishness is not about being dull-witted. It is about being evil and rebellious against God.
3 John 1:2 – This is God’s will for us. He will provide for us and heal us.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.(3 John 1:2 WEBUS)
