The message it bears is one of warning and of encouragement. This scripture is believed to be the latter. It reminds us that the battle can be won and that the believer will be rewarded when that victory comes. The words “hidden manna” refer to the spiritual nourishment the faithful will receive on that final day. This nourishment will transform the believer into something completely new.
