In this life, I have watched people of the world succeed and do extraordinary things. Look at powerful and intelligent businessmen like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Listen to voices like Whitney Houston who can bring people to tears. Or even comedians like Kevin Hart whose words can leave you in stitches…But let’s highlight something: These people are very talented, and they are so successful because of their gifts. Yet they don’t use their talent to lift up God (I’m just going to ignore Kanye West for obvious reasons).
So the question is: Why do they prosper?
Well, why shouldn’t they?
They are talented and they work very hard.
When God blesses us with certain gifts, it is up to us how we use them. Whether to honour Him or gain validation from the world, that is up to you. But certain principles still apply. Hard work, believing in yourself, practising, getting up even after you fail. Certain things work for all people.
So I plead with you now, let God use you. Let God do something.
If you were created by Him, by the living God, then you are created to be much more to do much more. You were created to leave a mark on this earth that would never be erased no matter how the devil will try to do it. You are created to go through challenges, to go through trials standing up tall, standing up proud and still walking in love.
If He has given you a gift, use it. Use all the resources at your disposal to conquer. Every tool, every gift, every resource can be used by God to change your life, to bring healing and freedom to your family, to bring more people to the Kingdom. You can do so much in this lifetime.
For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
