When good does not occupy our time, evil will try to get in. The verse explains a solid principle about time. It’s not just about how you use the 24 hours you have each day; it is about how you use every moment and opportunity you have to do good. This verse explains that the days are evil, which implies the condition of this current generation. We are living in a wicked time with a perverse generation, and as we go through our day, we can experience the existence of evil in this age. We must use our time wisely, glorify God and please Him, and do not allow evil into our lives . We must also be vigilant and sober because our enemy is also waiting for the opportunity to tempt us and grab our time for his evil purposes. Watch out, especially in our idle times. Remember how King David committed adultery with Bathsheba. It was during his idle time when he was tempted and gave in to sin (2 Samuel 11:2)
